Derrick Lacey, 35, of Columbus, Ohio, sadly left this world on February 1, 2024. Born on April 30, 1988, Derrick lived a life infused with passion, kindness, and an unwavering spirit. His warmth and infectious laughter drew people towards him, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him. Whether engaging in intellectual conversations or working diligently towards his goals, Derrick exhibited an unwavering dedication and a genuine love for life. His indomitable spirit will forever be cherished and remembered by his countless friends and acquaintances. Though his departure has left a void, Derrick's memory will continue to inspire and touch our lives.

Derrick Lacey survived by his Brothers Jack Lacey, Johnathan Lacey, Richard Lacey II, and Dustin Penwell. His sister Wyonna Lacey and Miranda Seymour (Lacey)

Derrick was proceeded in Death by his Brother Dustin Scott Lacey and his nephew Thomas Neil Christman III. (Wyonna Lacey’s son)

A celebration for life will take place on Saturday February 3, 2024. At 11:00 am. Held at the Calvary Church In Columbus Ohio.
