Deron D. Burton was born May 4, 1955 in Los Angeles, California to Jimmie James Burton and Patricia Diane Savage. He attended 122nd Street School, Van Guard, Mount Vernon Jr. High and also Dorsey High School.

What can we say about Deron. Deton was aquiet and pleasant person. He always had a smile on his face. He was loved by everyone and in return he gave back love to the family and all his friends. Deron loved sports and enjoyed music.

He leaves to mourn him, Tautinish Mallory; one daughter Derasia Monae Burton; two grandfathers, James Burton Sr. and Samuel Savage; two grandmothers, Pauline Savage and Ella S. Burton; eight brothers, seven sisters, nineteen uncles and three aunts, and hosts of relatives and friends.
