Deloris Louise VatterPort HuronDeloris Louise Vatter, age 68, of Port Huron, passed away on May 15, 2017, in Marwood Nursing and Rehab, after a short illness, with her family by her side.She was born on August 18, 1948, in Detroit, to the late Joseph and Leona Szotzki.Deloris married John H. Vatter, on March 11, 1972, in Port Huron.She was very involved in Choir and art while being at Marwood. Deloris enjoyed cooking and loved her dogs. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.Deloris is survived by her husband, John Vatter of Port Huron, son, Joseph Szotzki and his companion, Rosemary Bryson of Port Huron, daughter, Yvonne (Douglas) Welch of Roseville, 3 grandchildren, Douglas Jr. (Megan)Welch, Sean Welch and Tyler Welch and great-grandson, Landyn Anderson.Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, 2:00pm to 8:00pm and Thursday, 10:00am until the time of services at 11:00am.
