We are sad to announce the passing of Deanna Phillips, who left us on June 6, 2024, at the young age of 51. Born on March 9, 1973, in South Haven, Michigan, Deanna was the beloved daughter of Roosevelt Phillips and Constance Moore.

Deanna was a loving mother to her seven children: Sydney Moore, Derontae Phillips, Everritt Phillips, Jerrimy Phillips, Roosevelt Phillips, Deandreeka Phillips, and Constance Phillips. She was also a proud grandmother to ten precious grandchildren.

Deanna attended Roosevelt High School and went on to further her education at Michigan State University. She pursued a career as a nurse, caring for others with compassion and dedication.

Although Deanna is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She had a bright spirit and a quick wit that always brought laughter to those around her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Deanna by sharing a funny story or memory of her. She would want us to celebrate her life with laughter and joy.

Rest in peace, Deanna Phillips. You will be dearly missed.
