Dawn L. Scott, age 48, of Oscoda passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital in Saginaw.She was born on July 26, 1968 in Lapeer to James C. Scott Sr. and Laura Scott (McKay). Dawn enjoyed taking care of her kids, singing, gardening, cleaning and organizing and loved all animals. She is survived by her children, Courtney Scott and Tyler Heckathorn-Scott; parents, James C. Scott Sr. and Laura Scott; and brother James C. Scott, Jr. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at Grace Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Oscoda.
