David LawrenceAvon Lake (Carlisle)David Lawrence, of Avon Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. David was born on July 20, 1964 in Des Moines to Jo Ann and Davis Lawrence.Dave enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs, traveling especially to Florida and Las Vegas, watching his Chiefs and telling stories.Those left to honor his memory are his loving wife, Melinda; children, Breana Lafferty and Joshua Auxier; grandson, Wyatt (Cowboy) Spence; parents, Jo Ann Lawrence and Davis (Leta) Lawrence; sister, April Lawrence; brothers, Todd (Tammie) Hoffman and Jerry (Chezron) Hoffman; and many other loving family and friends.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street in Des Moines. Family will greet visitors from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
