David W. Trippett, 80, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, in Parkersburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 17, 1943, in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Denver and Mildred Trippett.

David joined the Army and proudly served his country. He was stationed in Germany where he met the love of his life. David also served in Vietnam.

He is survived by the love of his life of 56 years, Renate; 3 sons, David (late Jerri), Bill (Vern), John (Tracey); nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his three sisters and a brother.
