Dan graduated from Patch High School Stuttgart Germany in 1985.

Dan served his country in The United States Army in the Infantry Division.

Dan worked at Powerhouse Retail Services LLC as a Director of Operations and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

How to share who Dan Starr is and was can best be done by those who knew him throughout his Life. It was a sudden and truly unexpected a heartfelt ripple that was felt by all who knew him. He has surrounded his family with a very large support system and we are so grateful for all the for the family he has left us to share and carry on his memory with. Dan was also survived by his Friend Family (Inibriati) from High School at Patch in Stuttgart Germany and his Work Family at Powerhouse Retail Services LLC where Dan was a Director of Operations.

Cory - I didn’t know Dan all that long, but the last conversation that I had with him was very profound and I told myself that day I would remember these words. I think those words are very impactful. He seemed like a terrific man!

Dan was talking to some of the members in his office a few days before he passed way, about life and priorities and said the following,

"When you're 20, you head out into the world thinking you know it all.

You get to 30, realizing just how wrong you were in your 20's, and now know that you have it all together.

40 rolls around, and you suddenly realize you had it all wrong in your 30's, but with this new wisdom, you will get it right.

Then 50 comes, and it hits you, you had it right in your 20's all along." -Dan Starr

Kim - Dan ALWAYS had time to help and had so much to offer in terms of sharing with us his incredible wealth of knowledge.   He was never too busy - no matter how many calls and meetings, he would always make time to teach and it was so very appreciated.  What a loss we have all experienced.  In a positive way, what a gain we all had for we are all better for knowing him.  Thank you for sharing him.

A few share memories from his Friends family The Inibriati , which dan named them - Dan was the glue that bonded our group!

Jim Martins - I feel a piece of me died with him, as the same thing happened when Doug died. Our group of friends built an unbreakable friendship. So many memories I will always cherish. Being a few years younger, I looked up to Dan and always knew he would be successful and raise a beautiful family. And he definitely did. I pray for you, your family and our friends. Thank you for making him so happy, he lived the life he wanted. And no one can ask for more than that.

Rob Platter - There are so many stories I could tell . I think Dan was the glue that pulled the separate elements together of our group. Dan was a great guy, I'm going to miss him.

Monica - Oh, Dan.  One of the most incredible things about my life with John is it’s included you and Michelle right from the start. You folded me into your world and welcomed me as a friend from the start.  But, you were unlike most friends I’ve ever had. Thank you for welcoming me into your world and for allowing me to experience a friendship that grew into family. It was important to bring our families together and share time and laughter.  And that we did.  You gave your wife to me as a lifelong friend. I will forever be grateful that Dan Starr came into my life.

Tina - What do you say when trying to describe Dan Starr? Crazy, up for anything, jokester or prankster outgoing, not afraid to talk to anyone about anything, shit stirrer, and lets not forget “flirt”, ”,. He was all of those but with a depth of caring that was covered in laughter. He surrounded himself with a group of strong, very different individuals who were all extremely different, sometimes hard to picture as a group that we all worked, but we amazingly did and still do. Dan will always have a piece of our hearts and we get to keep a piece of him because he gave us his wife and family as part of our families.

Yvonne - Dan Starr: He truly was. The star of the show. The sun we all revolved around and who light and warmth we all bathed in. His shenanigans were hilariously memorable. His friendship true and everlasting. His abilities countless. He was a true enigma. From his smile to his words of wisdom you always got pure Dan. My memory of him will be that he was the glue that held us together. So we must all remember he would insist we never loosen our grip on the Inibriati! Live full! Live true! Live hard! Love always in all ways!

Floyd - Dan was truly one of a kind! I will never forget his mannerisms and laid-back demeanor.

My heart is broken into a million tiny pieces. You are no longer of this world, you inhabit a place of no return, no matter the tears or how much I yearn. God called you home to be with him.
