Dalton Williams Sr, a beloved member of the Marksville, Louisiana community, passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 83. He was born on August 20, 1940, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Dalton attended Marksville High School where he excelled academically and was known for his outgoing personality. After graduating, he proudly served in the Navy, where he developed a strong sense of duty and honor.

Throughout his life, Dalton was a dedicated family man and cherished his role as a father to his three children, Dalton Williams Jr, Catherine Courtney, and Julius Williams. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom for his family and was always there to offer guidance and support.

Dalton was also a proud grandfather to his ten grandchildren, whom he adored and spoilt with love and affection. His family was his greatest joy, and he took great pride in watching his children and grandchildren grow and succeed in life.

In addition to his family, Dalton had a passion for community service and was actively involved in various local organizations and charitable causes. He was known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.
