Cynthia Burks (65) Romulus, MI began life on October 24,1956 in Ypsilanti, MI she was born to Marcell & Susie Lee Jackson (Evans). Cynthia was a graduate of Robichaud High School of Dearborn Heights, MI, Class of 1974, Oakland Community College: Practical Nursing Program 06/30/1976, Washtenaw Community College: Associates Degree 12/21/1988. Cynthia worked as a Nurse at Wayne County General Hospital (Loved the Pediatric Ward), Walter P. Reuther Psychiatric Hospital, State of Michigan / Dept. of Corrections (Scotts, Huron Valley and Western Wayne Correctional Facilities). Cynthia retired as a Registered Nurse, after over 25 years of dedicated service in her occupational field.

Cynthia loved to crochet, do word puzzles and games, playing cards, watching movies, baking. She also enjoyed in-depth spiritual conversations, about the Bible's promises of a new world without pain, suffering and death. A most blissful joy was gained by the loving and nurturing relationship shared with her grandchildren. Cynthia was known as an avid conversationalist, and for her "Famous" Sock-It- To Me, 7-Up cakes and her Sweet Potato pies. Cynthia was quick to provide aid to those in need or give you a piece of her mind (if necessary). She. Cynthia had a laugh that was highly contagious with a most warming smile.

Cynthia is predeceased by Marcell Jackson Sr. (Father), Susie Lee Jackson (Mother), Siblings: Albert Jackson, Marcella Jackson, Michelle James, Marcell Jackson Jr. Cynthia is also survived by her Siblings (6) : Bennie Jackson, Roslin Logan, Cheryl Taylor, Elania Paul, Robin Foster, Valerie Kromah; Children (4) : Chastity White (Jackson) / Anthony, Sandy Bruno (Jackson), Reddick Borkins, Jelessa Burks; Grandchildren (11) : Tyler Wright, Ciara Bush, Brandon White, Isabella Bruno, Ja Cia Borkins, Justin White, Gabriella Bruno, Jordyn Borkins, Makayla Bruno, Blake See Burks, Paisley Burks; Friends and Other Family: Dell Harris, Patricia Shaw, Nervisa Freeman, Harriett Kullum and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
