Cressinda Lauran Hethcox, 70, passed away on Friday May 31st, 2024. She was born on September 1st, 1953 to Morrell Hethcox and Manelle Burton of Tallassee, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Jennifer Hudmon, and her beloved dog, Claire. 

Cressinda followed in her mother’s footsteps working as a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for many years. She loved the Alabama Crimson Tide, a passion she inherited from her father. She enjoyed thrift shopping, tending to her flower garden, listening to Merle Haggard, and baking for her family.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Lee (Chris) and her son Josh Aldridge (Alicia), 8 grandchildren- Erin Lassiter (David), Dylan Lee, Gracie Redden (Josh), Jacquie Aldridge (Anthony), Devan Lee, Jake Miller, Lane Aldridge, and Libby Miller, one great grandson, Rory Redden, niece Brooke Hamiter, nephew Gabe Hornsby, and special friends- Deborah Neighbors, Becky Hathcock, and cousin Becky Carroll. 

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Humane Society of Elmore County. 

Details for a celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
