Corey was a remarkable individual, possessing a warmth and kindness that radiated from within. His infectious laugh, genuine smile, and compassionate nature touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Corey had an incredible ability to make others feel seen and valued, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.
An avid adventurer, Corey possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge and experiences. His wanderlust took him to breathtaking destinations around the world, enabling him to immerse himself in various cultures and broaden his perspective. Corey Kirkland is survived by his loving parents, John and Mary Kirkland; his siblings, Rebecca (Michael) Williams and Matthew (Sarah) Kirkland; his adoring nieces and nephews, Emma, Joshua, Ella, and Benjamin; as well as numerous extended family members, close friends, and colleagues who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Corey's life will be held on November 27, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Central Chapel in Memphis. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Corey's name to a charity of your choice.
