Ms. Connie Self, age 62, of Gainesville passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Aycock will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Self was born on Feb. 13, 1954, in Lynchburg, Tenn. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim Momany and Margaret Raymond Momany. She is survived by her son, Jerry Self Jr. of North Ridge, Calif.; son, Mark Self of Flowery Branch; daughter, June Self of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren; sister, Lisa Monroe; brothers, Robert Momany and Charles Momany; and the late Jerry Myers.
