Cleo Lucille Whittenburg-Sutton, lovingly known as Cleo, was born on April 29, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles Everett Whittenburg and Mary Grace Robertson. She peacefully passed away on October 20, 2025.

Cleo leaves behind a legacy of love and joy through her six children: Franshawn Whittenburg, Andrea Sutton, Mary Love, John Frederick O’Quinn, Jasmine Francesca O’Quinn, and Charles-Etta Jaleessa Mosley. She also leaves behind countless cherished memories with her Grandchildren, Nieces, & Nephews.

Cleo had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She attended Morgan Park High School and had a passion for spending time with family and friends.

Despite her battle with Stage 4 lung cancer, Cleo remained a pillar of strength and positivity, touching the lives of all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.
