Our family sadly lost an important pillar; Cheryl Ann Helm (58) passed away on September 1 2023, in the comfort of her home. 

Born April 17, 1965 to Gilda Denise Helm and James Justice Sr., Cheryl lived her rambunctious young life in Toledo Ohio with her best friend, who also happened to be her sister Delaine Helm; along with other siblings Howard, Shawn, Shelly, James Jr. and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends nearby. 

Vacation trips to Jamacia, Vegas and many more, led to a love of traveling and enjoying life to its fullest. Passing on the love to live a fulfilled life to her four children; Charmaine Helm, Danielle Helm, Anthony Guinn and Christopher Clark. Cheryl is forever proud of her children and 11 grandchildren, letting the world know they are her greatest accomplishments whom she loved greater than she ever imagined possible. 

Cheryl was strong willed and stubborn at times, but she also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. She was generous, honest, and brave. She was not afraid to speak her mind and give any one in need her greatest advice, “it is what it is”. Clever and full to the brim of knowledge gained through all her life experiences, Cheryl had no problem getting and maintaining a lifestyle she was happy and comfortable with. 

She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them, treating all of her nieces and nephews like her children and her friends like family- and if you knew her, you knew it. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before her. She will be missed dearly. 

In typical Cheryl fashion, there will be no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. A celebration of life will occur when her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers and slew of nieces and nephews continue to honor and remember every moment they shared with Cheryl Ann Helm.
