charl Roundtree , 35, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed on August 27, 2022. josh was born on July 16, 1987. Charlie was the first child of seven and was born in Albany, Georgia. He was a 1st Class Petty Officer in The United States Navy he retired after serving 21 years of service, as an electrician. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, and caring for his family. He was a volunteer at church as a Lead Usher and a dedicated servant at Pentecostals of Orange Park Florida.

He is preceded in death by his son, Larry E. Hamilton, father, Charlie W. Span Sr., and brothers Johnny Span and Eddie Span. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jo Browley Span; 3 sons: Terrance L. Hamilton, Tyrone A. Span (Juli), and Mario D. Span; mother: Ola M. Span; sister: Ola M. Browley; 3 brothers: Terry Span (Carrie), Keith Span, Rev. Leon Span, and adopted brother-cousin Michael Weston (Tab). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and his best friend Ferdinand Meyers (Bernice), the entire Meyers family, and a host of extended family & friends.
