Charles Elmore, 41, of Los Altos Hills, California, passed on August 23, 2023. Charles was born on January 26, 1982 to Donald E. Elmore of Princeton, WV and Patricia J. Pugalee of Providence, RI. He was married to Maria Mendoza on November 11, 2018 in Cebu, Philippines and remain married until his passing. He fathered one son, but due to the circumstances with his wife remaining in her homeland, that information was unavailable. Also surviving by him were several aunts and uncles, and many cousins. He was preceeded in death by a couple of uncles, one of whom he was very close to and shared a name with, his uncle Charles D. Elmore, as well as his grandparents whom he also shared a name with, his grandfather on his fathers side, Charles Edward Elmore who unfortunately passed away slightly a year before his birth. Charles was a graduate of Dothan High School of Dothan, AL. He also graduated with honors from York Technical College and American National University aquiring associates degrees in Automotive/Diesel Technology and Business Management. He was also currently enrolled at USC in the Mechanical Engineering program. He spent his early years in a small town of Princeton, WV before moving his senior year. After graduating he eventually lived in every state the south has to offer before settling down in South Carolina. He started a car detailing business in 2012 and had expanded to doing mechanic and performance work in early 2019. Tragedy struck in 2020 when he suffered a near fatal car accident. He failed to fully recover and could no longer continue to work. He instead used his time to further his education and volunteer in his community. He was known to mow his neighbors yards while they were at work, free of charge as his neighbors described him as someone who was always there to help ya in anyway he could. He was a man of many faiths as his book collection indicate. He studied theology as a hobby and often joined different religions to understand them and get a true incite of their people. From books by the Dalai Lama, the Quran, the Bible, and even The Book of Mormon. His last congregation being the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he loved to do charity work on Saturdays and had been a boy scout den father for a couple of years. In lieu of flowers we ask to please make a donation to a worth charity, he preferred St Judes or Holy Angels. Charles passed away at his vacation home in California, the exact details of his passing are not available at this time as he was transferred to his parents. Godspeed Mr. Elmore.
