Lucas, Betty Lou Age 78; passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born on January 4, 1938 in Rochester, Michigan to parents Otis and Minnie (Barker) Spencer. Betty was a wonderful wife to her husband, a nurturing mother to her children, and a caring grandmother to all of her grandchildren. Betty never met a stranger; she made friends everywhere she went, and everyone described her as being “so sweet!” She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Douglas Lucas; children: Debby (Jim) Molyneux, Donna (Jim) Carnell, Theresa (Brian) Comstock, and Mark Lucas; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters: Mavis Elam, Twyla Spencer; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; six siblings; granddaughter, Andrea Molyneux. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Hill Funeral Home (11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc). Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
