Cyphers, Belinda F. "Lyndi"Feb 8, 1957 - Oct 28, 2016Belinda F. "Lyndi" Cyphers passed away on Oct. 28, 2016 in Sarasota, FL. Lyndi was born on Feb. 8, 1957 in Kokomo, Indiana to Vernon and Ella Rose.She graduated from Riverview HS (Sarasota, FL) in 1975, where she met Richard and were married in 1976. Lyndi was an avid scrap-booker who loved to capture family memories. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Sarasota-Manatee Women's Hall of Fame for meritorious service. Lyndi was also a lifetime member of Girl Scouts and longtime volunteer for G.S. of Gulf Coast. She loved to ride motorcycles and was a member of Hap's Gulf Coast Cycle Club. Lyndi was open-hearted, caring, encouraging and supportive of all those she loved.Lyndi is survived by her husband Richard, her 2 daughters Tabatha and Kayla, her sister Brenda Johnson and many friends who loved her. Her viewing will be Friday, November 4, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Palms-Roberts Funeral Home at 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 4-9 pm at our home which was her favorite place. In lieu of flowers, two scholarship funds in her name have been set up.
