Beatrice E. Sanchez, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at her residence in Las Vegas surrounded by her family.She was born on Feb. 12, 1936, in Las Dispensas to the late Bernardino Mascareñas and Dulcinea Montoya-Mascareñas.She worked as a medical records clerk for 18 years at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernardino and Dulcinea Mascareñas; husband, Eloy Sanchez; grandson, Gillie Sanchez and son-in-law, Joseph Jaramillo.She is survived by her sons and daughters, Adrian Sanchez, Clyde Sanchez and Irene Encinias, Gilbert Sanchez and wife, Joyce, John Sanchez and wife, Carla, Isabel Jaramillo and Christy Rodarte, Dorothy Sanchez and Terrance Flores; Charlene Silva and husband, Larry; all of Las Vegas, Sheila Jaramillo and husband, Jake of Albuquerque; grandson she raised, Robert Sanchez and Samantha Sandoval of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Roger Mascareñas and wife, Jackie of Santa Fe, Lillian Nieto and husband, Felipe of Las Vegas, Lupe Romero and husband, Max of Santa Fe, Sadie Dunagan of Los Alamos, and Christine Garner of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Mary Mascareñas of Santa Fe, Eleanor Aragon of Las Vegas, Rosalia Lovato and husband, Al of Nambe, Lena Ortiz and husband, Abedon, Jr., of Pojoaque, Betty Sanchez of Pueblo, Colo.; brothers-in-law, Arcenio Sanchez and wife, Theresa of Pueblo, Colo., Eduardo Sanchez and wife, Jenny of Albuquerque, Alfredo Sanchez and wife, Gloria, Joe Sanchez and wife, Flora, Lorenzo Sanchez and wife, Margaret, all of Las Vegas.Rosary services were held Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today (Friday) also at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will follow at Nuestra Señora del Refugio in Los Vigiles with the following serving as casket bearers: Antoinette Gonzales, Amanda Flores, Yvonne (Buffy) Jaramillo, Candice Flores, Brandi Rodarte, Samantha Jaramillo, Crystalrae Romero and Savannah Sanchez.
