Beatrice Colquitt was born April 25, 1946 in Ochopee, Florida at home by midwife to the late Willie Barrett, and late Edna Mae Stockner. Bea was raised and educated in Immokalee Fl, she attended Immokalee High School where she was on the basketball team as point guard and graduated in 1965. Bea worked as a Dietary Aid until she retired in 1988.

Bea loved to go fishing and would bring home coolers of fish to be cleaned and bagged by the kids, she had a green thumb and loved plants, she had what we call a growing hand, she also loved to play cards with spades being her favorite. Bea was loved and will truly be missed.

 

On Sunday, October 06,2019 Beatrice passed away leaving her memories to her Uncle James Stockner Jr.(Roberta) 3 children: Demetris Churchwell, Alfred Churchwell (Sharon), and Sherlyn Colquitt (Bryant): Grandchildren; Timothy Buckley, Brittany Simone Jennings, Robert Jones, Great Granchildren: Bryson Buckley, Khawani Jones, Heir Amir Jones and a host of cousins and friends.
