Baynette Blanchard Baynette Blanchard, age 69, of Beaufort, SC and formerly of Tarboro, NC as well as Gastonia, NC, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016. Mrs. Blanchard was born on October 14, 1946 in Lincoln County, North Carolina to the late Allen and Margaret Black. She attended community college in Burlington, NC for Medical Transcriptionist and was the owner and operator of Blanchard's Bridal & Florist in Tarboro, NC before finding her niche as a Professional Home Stager. Baynette attended the Baptist Church of Beaufort, participating in Bible study groups. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family as well as sewing. Leaving behind a wonderful family, surviving is her husband, Steve Blanchard of 47 years; her son, Dryw Blanchard (Amy) of Indian Trail, NC; her daughter, Amber Godowns (Asa) of Lady's Island, SC; her brother, Chesley Black (Peaches) of Gastonia, NC; and grandchildren, Ben, Asa III, Karson, Ivy Kate. Visitation from 9:00 10:30am Saturday, August 6, 2016 -- Memorial Service will be begin at 10:30am, at Kate Gleason Park located behind Beaufort Memorial Hospital, 955 Ribaut Rd., Beaufort, SC 29902. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Carolina Hospice. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family.
