Brown, 81, of Fort Myers, FL and formerly of Fremont/Clyde, passed away at 7:55 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 at Joanne's Hospice House in Fort Myers, FL.Barbara was born on April 19, 1936, in Cumberland, KY, to the late Stephen and Eliza (Shepherd) Hogg. She married Bobby D. Brown on December 23, 1961 and he preceded her in death.Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lisa (David) Szakovits of Fort Myers, FL, two brothers, Billy Hogg and Otis "Burl" Hogg both of Hamilton, OH.Barbara worked at Nickles Bakery in Fremont.Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Anthony Brown, five brothers and a sister.Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at Seneca Memory Gardens.Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, the American or to the Sandusky County Humane Society.
