Barbara Jean (Simross) StansberryNEWARK: Barbara Jean (Simross) Stansberry, 80, passed away at 3:41 a.m. Sat. June 10, 2017 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born on Sept. 20, 1936 in Newark, a daughter of the late Theodore and Treava Simross. She was a loving mother who took wonderful care of her daughters. She loved reading books, eating junk food, and baking and decorating cakes. She is survived by three daughters Debbie (David) Montgomery, Cindy Black, and Carla (Josh) Madinger. One son Bob (Bonnie) Stansberry. An adopted daughter Janice Sigler. Son-in-law Danny Wiseman. Grandchildren Jermey Wiseman, Glenn Black III, Kevin Paul Montgomery, Amanda (Jesus) Figueroa, and Judy Montgomery, Lisa Stansberry, and Shanie (Mark) Merew. Eight great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul William Lee Stansberry. One son Bill Stansberry. Three brothers William Simross, Robert Simross, and James Simross. One son-in-law Tom Roberts.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thur.
