Barbara Hilliard, 83, peacefully passed to be with our Lord on August 18, 2023. Barbara was born on September 25, 1939 in Butler, PA daughter of Nelle A.(Smith) and Steven Bachura. Barb, as she was affectionately called, was also favorably known as Bubzie to her grandkids. She will be remembered as a very kind and caring great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. During her last days with us she was cared for by her oldest child Laura(Mahalik) MacIntyre. Barb was very loving, wise, and strengthened everyone she met. She was a successful retired secretary for various engineering associations. After she also worked part time as a realtor and property manager for private condominiums in Fort Myers,FL. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed golfing, competitive trivia and cheering for the Steelers. Everyone loved her cooking. She was so much fun and would get out on the dance floor and dance with you. With her amazing brave spirit she was a two time breast cancer survivor inspiring us all. She was loved by everyone, never a bad word said. Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Richard A. Bachura , Donald S. Bachura and sister Elaine Ann (Bachura) Maker; children Laura L. MacIntyre, Mark S. Mahalik , and Matthew S. Mahalik; grandchildren Elizabeth, Jacob, Jesse, Noah; great-grandchildren Alejandro, Armando, Luca ,Callum; and a host of family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone she interacted with. Barbara, gone but not forgotten, a beautiful soul that will shine on us from heaven.
