Barbara Hammett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 6, 2024, in Attalla, Alabama, United States.
She was born on December 9, 1949, to proud parents Ramon and Tommie Talbit. In 1980, she married the love of her life, James Fred Hammett Sr, and together they raised four children: Williams Shane D Hammett, James Fred Hammett Jr, William Ramen D, and Shania Ray Beth Hammett.
Barbara was a dedicated employee, retiring from her position as a bus driver at Etowah High School. She graduated from Etowah High School in 1969.
Barbara's true passion in life was horses. She enjoyed spending time with them and caring for them whenever she had the chance.
Barbara's legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rest in peace, Barbara Hammett. Your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
