Bachan K. Singh, 90, of Imperial passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Bachan was born on April 22, 1922 in India. She later married Toga Singh in India. She came to the Imperial Valley in 1953 She is survived by her sons, Charn S. Sandhu (Norma), Kuldeep S. Sandhu (Dev); daughters, Mrs. Charnjeet K. Dosanjh (Kuldip), Mrs. Surinder K. Mackey (Steven); sister, Gobind Kaur Grewal of Fresno; 9 grandchildren, Karen, Chamen, Kenwarjit Dosanjh, Simran and Gurpaul Sandhu, Kaura and Kimo Mackey, Surina and Samir Sandhu; and 3 great-grandchildren, Nimrit, Jaya and Ashleen. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19 , 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary. Final prayer service will immediately follow at Sikh Temple at 453 Commercial Ave in El Centro.
