ARLENE CAPOZZI

GODFREY — Arlene N. Capozzi, 86, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at Eunice Smith in Alton.

She was born on July 30, 1930, in Ellery, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ira and Lena (Fortner) Hudson. After her mother passed away in 1941, she lived with her grandparents, Robert and Bertha (Perkins) Fortner.

Arlene married Nicholas Capozzi on August 19, 1967, at Ellery Christian Church where she was a member.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Olen R. Hudson of Malvern , Ohio; a sister Awanda Deischer of Morris, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 9 until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2106 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Pastor Tim Gill officiating.

Cremation rites will follow.

Inurnment will be at Bethel Cemetery in Ellery.
