Theresa Martin Gardner was born on May 15, 1959 in Brooklyn NY to the late Hattie and Sunny Dicks. She passed away suddenly at Bronx Lebanon Hospital on April 16,2020. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Gregory Andre Gardner. 1 sister Brenda Martin, 2 brothers Randy Dicks(Chiffon) & Stanley Dicks (Bernadette).5 Children Sharice Brown (Anthony)Rahmaan Martin, Sade,Roy and Shawn and 1 step daughter Chemika Taveras and her 3 children.6 Grandchildren: Tyquan Gregory, Anthony Brown jr ,Christina Brown, Aurora Dennis, Gabrielle Brown and Marion Martin.2 Great grandchildren:Lyla Gregory and Skylar Gregory. Sister in Laws Blonie & Sadie and  Brother in Laws Benjamin and Donald. Theresa also leaves behind a host of family & friends who love and will miss her dearly.

Theresa will be reunited with her parents and her siblings Margie Parker and Lawrence Dicks.

Theresa worked for many years in the Social Services Field providing love and support to those in need. She loved spending time with her love ones. She recently took her first plane ride at 60 years old with her beloved cousin and hang out partner Janay Cauthen where she had tons of fun in Las Vegas playing the slots which she loved. Her loving spirit and dance moves would light up any room she entered. Theresa loved to play cards and singing to her husband in her spare time.
