Robert Donald WarnerAGE: 86 • Seaford, DERobert Donald Warner (Bobby), age 86, of Seaford, DE, passed away at Lofland Park Center in Seaford, DE on March 6, 2017 after a long illness. Bobby was born on a farm near Smyrna, DE on April 10, 1930. Even after leaving the farm, his love of growing vegetables and giving them to neighbors continued throughout his life. He graduated from Smyrna High School with a perfect attendance record over 12 years.Bobby served his country during the Korean War. After the war, he moved to Seaford, DE and began work with DuPont. He retired from DuPont with 30 years of service.He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker and Golda Warner; five siblings, Thomas J. Warner, Isaac P. Warner, Estelle W. Keiser, Helen M. McClain and Virginia Mae Walker.The family would like to thank the staff at Lofland Park Center for their care and compassion over the many years Bobby was in their care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobby's name may be sent to Generations, 205 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, visitation will begin at noon and a celebration of life will directly follow at 1:00 p.m. at Faries Funeral Home, 29 S.
