Ernest Smith, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated employee, passed away on November 20, 2024, in Milford, Delaware, United States. He was born on April 13, 1954, to Curtis Smith and Pearl Curry.

Ernest married his loving wife, Pattie Smith, in the year 23, and together they had five children: Fredrick Curry, Pamela Smith, Betty Jean Smith, Melissa Smith, and Daryl Smith. Ernest was a devoted father who always put his family first and cherished every moment spent with his children.

Ernest was also a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren, whom he adored and doted on each and every day. His family meant the world to him, and he loved nothing more than spending time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Ernest attended Milford Senior High School and went on to have a successful career working at Dart First State. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication to his job. He made many lifelong friends through his work and was respected by all who knew him.
