RIEGLE - Richard James "Rich" Age 86, a long-time resident of Jupiter, FL, went to be with his Lord and Savior and have a grand family reunion on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Due to declining health, Rich moved in 2014 to the West Palm Beach area. Rich was born on November 17, 1929 to Walter Aaron Riegle and Iva Ada (Preisch) Riegle in Clarence Center, NY. He graduated in 1948 from Parker High School. Served in the United States Army. Married Ruth E. Warnburger in 1954. He and Ruth were blessed with daughter, Cathy Ruth Riegle on January, 29, 1956. The family moved in 1972 from New York to Florida. He worked until an accident disabled him. Rich and Ruth were devoted to each other for 28 years of marriage until her death in 1982. Several years after his wife's death, he became an avid traveler with his companion, Mildred Bucholz, until her death. Daughter Cathy passed away on March 19, 2014. Rich's parents and brother, Donald Riegle, also preceded him in death. Survivors are sisters, Joyce Learned of Niagara Falls, NY, Virginia Lawson of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and brother Bruce Riegle of Annapolis, MD and a host of extended family. A private family graveside committal took place for Rich beside his wife along with an interment for their daughter Cathy on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Clarence Center Cemetery in Clarence Center, NY. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Patti Leite with Catholic Charities and Trustbridge Hospice for their care of Rich.
