Chicago, Illinois. - Richard Chambers, a resident of Chicago, Illinois, passed Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015.
Richard, aka Rich, was born in 1961 to Raymond and Jennifer Chambers in Chicago. Throughout his life he moved from Chicago, Madison & Janesville, he went to Jackson Elementary school in Janesville Wisconsin, Sherman Middle School in Madison, East High School in Madiso, Fenger Academy High School in Chicago
Known for his quick wit and generous heart, Rich touched the lives of people around his community. He's known for his famous rib recipe, Nolo stories, uncanny Trivial Pursuit skills, memorable road trips, and hobbies, such as coin collecting and painting toy soldiers.
He was an outstanding father to his four sons, who called him "Pops". He coached their basketball teams, cheered them on during their soccer matches, and their horse-riding endeavors. He was their Dungeon Master, their confidant, and their friend; he will be missed.
He is survived by his loving, second wife of 19 years, Josephine Chambers; his three sisters, Rowlanda Wilson, Samantha Bared, and Audrey Davis; his four sons, Mario Fields , Brian Chambers, Aaron Chambers, and Brandon Thompson-with former spouse, Laura (Thompson) Richard's Memorial Celebration will be held at PULLMAN PARK on Saturday, Sept, 19 2015, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Chicago, Illinois.
