Richard J. BurnfeindtPoughkeepsie - Richard J. Burnfeindt, 56 of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Richard was born on December 26, 1960 in Bronx, NY to the late Richard John Burnfeindt and Marilyn Wagner Burnfeindt who survives at home. A local resident since 1972, Richard was a graduate of BOCES and was employed for 24 years until his death at Dutchess County ARC. He was a participant in the Special Olympics in Track & Field and Swimming. Richard loved to bowl, enjoyed watching TV to see the Yankees, Cowboys and the WWF. In addition to his mother who resides in Poughkeepsie, NY, Richard is survived his brothers Craig A. Burnfeindt of Millbrook, NY, Eric J. (Jill) Burnfeindt of Millbrook, NY, sister Lynn (Steve) BurnFeindt O'Del of Red Hook, NY plus several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Richard John Burnfeindt who died on June 10, 2016. Visitation will be on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home.
