Randall Mark Brashear, born August 13, 1950, lived a full life before passing away Friday, October 16, 2020 at 12:46 pm.  Born in Robinson, Illinois, Randall went on to live in Flat Rock, IL., Deer Park, Pasadena, Houston, and Tomball, Texas before moving to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, then back to Cypress, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Juanita Brashear and Brother Mike Brashear, as well as his Father-in-law Donald Shaffer and Sister-in-law Nora Landers.

A successful draftsman for most of his life, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna May Brashear, Brothers Jerry Brashear and Roger with wife Christine Brashear, Mother-in-law Esther May Shaffer, children Nicholas W. and wife, Angela Brashear, Travis D. and wife, Nicole Brashear, Caylin J. and wife, Amy Delpha-Brashear, and Kara D. Isam and partner, Jackie Schlabra; 8 grandchildren Jamie, Julie, Jordan, Shawn, Krislynn, Chloe, Scott and Kinsley, and 2 grand-dogs Zooey and Bandey along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Celebrations of Life will occur in Tomball, TX. at Tomball United Methodist Church (located at: 1603 Baker Dr, Tomball, TX 77375) on Sunday October 25th at 1pm, at Robinson, IL. at The Colbalt House (located at: 402 S Cross St, Robinson, IL 62454) on Saturday November 7th at 1pm, and lastly at Sapulpa, OK. at Sapulpa United Methodist Church (located at 1401 E Taft Ave, Sapulpa, OK 74066) on Tuesday, November 10th at 5pm. Knowing Randy was like knowing your best friend and for some of us, he was the best friend anyone could ask for. He was a devout Christian who proclaimed Jesus as his Lord and Savior, sang in many church choirs, played the hand bells, and played on several church and non-denominational softball teams.  He was a coach, a Sunday school teacher, a youth leader and a great debater. He claims he never yelled, just emphasized his words, had a mind likea steel trap, and he would always try to get the last word in. If he really liked you, he told you, “get out of here kid; you’re bothering me.”

His hobbies included crossword puzzles, music from the 60’s as well as classic rock, word games on his phone, reading the comics, a wide variety of movie entertainment, his ‘Stros (and other baseball), football, drag racing, commenting on people’s Facebook posts, and was an avid connoisseur of TV.

He shared his love of Christ with anyone and everyone knowing that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Joshua 24:15 says “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” This was one of the many versus he loved and was not afraid to share. Church life was a big part of Randy’s life, and if he was able to help you understand how to love the Lord better, he was all in.

The family wants to thank everyone for their kind words, prayers, and support as he is with his Lord now.
