Ramon "Almendare" Figueroa, 78, peacefully passed away in his sleep on January 28, 2021, in Bronx, NY. He was surrounded by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. Ramon was born on March 4, 1942, in Angelina, Dominican Republic to Daniela Asencio Figueroa.

Ramon is survived by his wife Clara, his 5 children Ramon Eduardo, Daneliza, Wendy, Ramon Orlando and Rumualdo, his 9 grandchildren Eduardo, Ashely, Ryan, Angel, Kiara, Justin, Aaron, Aliarra, Reianna, and his great-grandchild, Tristan. As well as by his siblings, godchildren and many friends.

Ramon will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. A true hard worker that never wasted a second of his day in order to provide the very best life for his family. With a presence and spirit that was felt by every single person when he entered a room; he will be greatly missed by all.

Ramon's funeral will be held at RG Ortiz Funeral Home on Wednesday, February, 3rd from 5 pm - 7 pm will also be streamed via Zoom for those that cannot attend. The mass will be held Thursday, February 4th at Immaculate Conception Church at 9:30 am. His burial will follow after at Woodlawn Cemetary.

Ramon es sobrevivido por su Esposa Clara, sus 5 Hijos Ramon Eduardo, Daneliza, Wendy, Ramon Orlando, y Rumualdo, sus 9 nietos Eduardo, Ashley, Ryan, Angel, Kiara, Justin, Aaron, Aliarra, Reianna, y su bisnieto Tristan. También por sus hermanos, ahijados y amistades.

Ramon sera recordado como devoto esposo, padre, abuelo, y amigo. Un hombre trabajador que dedico su vida a proveerle solo lo mejor a su seres queridos. Con tremenda presencia que se hacia sentir por todos cuando entraba a cualquier lugar, Ramon sera extrañado por todos que tuvieron el honor de compartir con el.

Su funeraria sera el miércoles 3 de febrero en la funeraria Ortiz localizada en la calle 190 y Broadway de 5pm a 7pm. También sera transmitida via Zoom para los que no puedan atender. Su misa sera el Jueves en la iglesia Immaculate Conception del Bronx a las 9:30am, y luego sera sepultado en el cementerio de Woodlawn en el Bronx.
