Peggy Kimbrell Railey, 88 of Mooresville, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was born on July 26, 1928 on her parents' farm in Newell, NC (Mecklenburg County) to the late Clyde Banks Kimbrell, Sr. and Rossie Mae Gardner Kimbrell. She graduated from Newell High School in 1945 and married Clarence Eugene Railey November 3, 1946. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and stay-at-home Mom, but later worked at and retired from Eckerd Drugs Offices and was a member of Berea Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, son Timothy Railey, sister, Vera Mae Kimbrell, brothers Clyde Kimbrell, Jr and Roy Kimbrell. Survivors include daughters, Brenda Freeze and husband Bill of Charlotte and Debbie Brown and husband Ronnie of Mt. Holly; grandchildren, David Freeze (Flor), Keri Brown (Kareem) and Adam, and great-grandchildren, Brandon Bost and Savanna Freeze and many nephews and nieces.The service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 5 at Berea Baptist Church, 1015 River Highway (Hwy 150), Mooresville, NC 28117. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will follow. Memorials may be made to Berea Baptist Church or the . James Funeral Home of Huntersville is serving the family.
