WEBBER, Paul William 65, of Rowley, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, October 20th, ending his long fight with leukemia. Paul was born on December 27th, 1950, to William L. and Evelyn C. Webber in Amesbury, Massachusetts. As a kid, he enjoyed playing baseball and hockey, performing in talent shows, and sailing the boat he and his brother bought for $10 along the Powwow River. He went on to attend The University of Massachusetts Amherst and later Bentley University for further business studies. In 1973, he married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ann, a love that would last the rest of his time. Serious work life started as a bank examiner for the State of Massachusetts, followed by a long and successful period at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston where he was named First Vice President. In his free time, he enjoyed following the local teams and world markets, emulating the French masters in the kitchen, playing golf, skiing, traveling near and far, taking in live music, and drinking good wine. He prided himself on knowing a little about a lot and being able to converse on nearly any topic with wit and affability. Paul is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Webber and their son, Benjamin, his mother, Evelyn C. Webber, sister, Anita Faye Rossi, brother, Robert H. Webber and sister-in-law, Jeanne, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 27th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the F. S.
