Nick P. Jaramillo III, 48, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. He was born on Aug. 2, 1964 in Las Vegas to his parents Nick Jaramillo Jr. and Frances Salas.He worked for the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute as a psych tech. Nick also loved being outdoors, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, arrow head hunting, had many friends and most of all always with a smile that no one will ever forget.He was a Catholic and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, and San Miguel De Vado Church in San Miguel. He is survived by his son, Jeren Jaramillo of Albuquerque; daughter, Mercedes Romero and husband Andrew; grandson, Andrez Romero all of Ribera; mother, Frances Lujan and husband James of Las Vegas; father, Nick Jaramillo Jr. and wife Yolanda of Dixon; brothers, Willie Jaramillo and wife Sandra of Rio Rancho, Joseph ""JoJo"" Jaramillo and wife Alisha of Las Vegas, Elias Jaramillo of Los Angeles; sisters: Susan Larrañaga of Albuquerque, Ane Romero of Washington, DC, Sonia Jaramillo of Albuquerque; special aunt, Theresa Bustos and husband Marvin of Las Vegas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.Rosary service will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with funeral mass to follow with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant . Cremation has taken place and interment will be at a later date.
