Mavin Cal Levy, was born August 6, 1920 in Tel Aviv, Isreal to his beautiful mother, Sahra and father, Avinadav.

For most of Mavin's childhood he and his family moved all over Europe. When Mavin was sixteen they moved to the USA and settled in New York. Mavin was determined to never struggle the way his parents did. So he took on many jobs but farming was his favorite.

Mavin then moved to Mississippi to start his own farm. There he met the love of his life, Lucille.  They started a family together and had five children: Allen, Gloria, Faye, Detrich, and Stephanie. When Maven's farm became successful he decided to move to Chicago so his kids could get a city education.

Mavin loved helping others, even if it meant giving his last. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his fourteen grandchildren. Mavin will always be remembered as a generous man with a huge heart.
