Yeo, Maureen Ruth Beloved wife of Robert Bob Yeo; beloved mother of Alice Halsor and Nancy White; grandmother to Robert Halsor, Lisa White, Steven Halsor, Michelle White and Tim Halsor; greatgrandmother to Zachary Halsor, passed away peacefully in the company of her family on December 8, 2016. She was 82 years old. Maureen was born on July 21, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a graduate of Western Hills High School in Cincinnati Ohio, and from there she studied at Miami University, Oxford Ohio for two years. In 1955 she married Robert Yeo, and this August they celebrated 61 years of marriage. Maureen loved singing. She was a member of the Manchester United Methodist Church Chancel Choir for over 20 years, and was a member of the Gateway Chorale that gave concerts in England and Western Europe in 1989. Then, when she moved to the Meramec Bluffs Senior Living facility in 2012, she joined the Bluffs Singers and sang there for three years. In addition, she mastered word games on her iPad and loved using it to keep up with her family. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a dearly loved wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed very much. Services: A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Manchester United Methodist Church, 129 Woods Mill Rd, Ballwin, MO in the Sanctuary, on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service. The family will be available for visitation prior to the service at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 am.
