God in his infinite wisdom gently and lovingly closed the eyes of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle.
God sent us a strong willed man. Loyd fell sick one time and God said, “It's not your time!” Loyd fell sick a second time and God said, “No, not yet.” Finally the Lord said, “You look tired; come on home”.
Loyd Welton Bailey Jr. was born April 19, 1960 from the late Dorothy Bailey and Loyd Welton Bailey Sr. in Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn NY. Loyd loved playing handball, basketball, dancing, watching boxing, western movies, and, most of all, playing Texas Hold’em poker.
Loyd met and fell in love with Dorinda Moye in Brooklyn, NY. They got married and had two beautiful sons Assim & Bilal. He started working as an independent contractor while living in Queens, NY and then retired to North Carolina.
Loyd is survived by his wife, Dorinda and his two sons, Assim and Bilal.
His grandkids- Tavian, Alaysia, Rajah, Anjanette
