Louise Gay was born to the union of Louis Stovall and Ann Thomas, July 18, 1946 in Booneville, MS. She transitioned into eternity, June 2, 2019, in Chicago IL. A lifelong resident of Englewood, Louise attended Parker Highschool and T.W.O. Learning Center before working for 25 years at Chase Bank, until she retired in 2008. All who encountered Louise were greeted by her customary welcome: a loving hug, bright smile and gentle spirit; from there you could look forward to delicious food, encouraging words and laughter. Louise is survived by her son, Gerald Gay (Rachel) and 3 grandchildren, Ivory, Brandon and Brittney. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Earl Bell, Sr. Louise cherished her close-knit family, including uncles and aunts, Jimmie (Wilie), Leonard (Betty); Wade (Thelma) and a large number of cousins, whom she fondly referred to as the California, Cleveland, and Detroit Bells. She had a "motherly" bond with nieces and nephews; Nathan, Veda, Zina, Earl and Vonda; along with 18 grand and 25 great nieces and nephews. Louise has two sister-friends, Julie Williams and Chiquita Weaver.
