We mourn the loss of Claude Turner, a beloved resident of Chicago, Illinois. Claude was born on August 28, 1941 and passed away on April 5, 2025.

Claude was the proud brother of Oliver, Emmanuel (deceased), and Wendell and the devoted spouse of Joanne Turner, whom he married in 1969. Together, they raised two children, Sharon (Turner) James and Jon Turner. Claude was the grandfather of four, Kenneth, Lauren, Khaleb, and Raina, and great-grandfather to five, Jaya, Jasmine, Christian, Jamari, and Janiya.

Claude was passionate about sports. You can often find him enjoying whatever sporting event that was on tv, with a bowl of ice cream in hand, enjoying his peace. Claude sense of humor was unmatched

In his free time, Claude enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and creating beautiful art pieces. His hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to express his creativity.

Claude leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
