He was born on July 23, 1929 in Wilmington, DE. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his family, helping others, movies, singing, morning walks, and working out and socializing with the people at the YMCA.Lawrence graduated from Brown Vocational High School in Wilmington, DE and attended Goldey Beacom College. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Lucy, and his nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maureen Seelig Rizzo; 2 daughters: Lori and Nancy (Kevin); 3 sons: Lawrence, Jr., Steven (Kimberly), and Jamie (Jeannie); and 4 grandchildren: Chris, Erin, Ava, and Sebastian.
