Lawrence"Larry" C. Lee TOGETHER AGAINLawrence C. Lee, "Larry", age 68, of Uniontown, Ohio, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Barberton Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1948 in Akron, the son of George C. Lee of Uniontown, Ohio, and the late Nora E. Capien Lee. Larry worked at Pennsylvania Crusher in Cuyahoga Falls, until the time of their closing, and then at 3 Lees Rental in Akron. He loved to gamble and wood work, he loved to build things, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Larry loved to go to Canada and fish and have fun with his whole family.Other than his father, Larry is survived by his four sisters, Nora E. Goodrich, Vada F. Satina, Rosemary (Albert "Skip") Brink, and Sally A. Lee; many special nieces and nephews, and his special cat, Nippers.Other than his mother; Larry was preceded in death by his wife, the former Darlin "Darlene" Lucas on January 12, 2004, they were united in marriage on January 16, 1970; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Satina and Gary Goodrich.Graveside committal services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Peninsula, Ohio, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife. Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before proceeding to the cemetery.
