LaShonda Floyd was born, on February 1, 1965, to Vivian Floyd in Chicago, Illinois. LaShonda, better known as NaNa, graduated from Hyde Park High School and was a member of Greater Metropolitan Church of Christ.

LaShonda was a family oriented person. She loved and cherished her family and did all she could for them. LaShonda always said her greatest accomplishment was the birth of her daughter Angel. We all have fond memories of the conversations we've had with a woman who loved to talk, listen to her music, eat her own cooking, and laugh.

After a short battle with cancer and complications from this condition, LaShonda Floyd left this earth on April 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother Vivian.

LaShonda leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her daughter Angel; her sisters LaTonya and LaToya; her brother; Rory and a host of other relatives and friends.
