John Revilla LUBBOCK-Funeral mass for John Revilla, 76, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Shallowater with Fr. George Poonely officiating. Interment will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m., today, Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Mr. Revilla passed away on Dec. 7, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 27, 1940, in Chriesman, Texas, to his late parents, Lorenzo and Cayetana (Maldonado) Revilla. He was a musician for many years and that was his passion. John was an auto mechanic as well as doing inspections on vehicles. John is survived by his children: John Revilla, Jr. of Dallas, Brenda Rodriguez of Las Cruces, NM, Patty Sanchez and George Revilla, both of California. He also leaves behind his siblings: Nash Revilla, Carnation Flores, Rosa Sanchez, David Revilla, Bonnie Rodriguez, Alice Lucio, Estella Revilla, Helen Castro, Daniel Revilla and Lorenzo Revilla, Jr.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Lupe Revilla, Emilia Maldonado, Mary Rodriguez and Fabian Revilla.
