SEAFORD - Jacob W. "Jake" Boyce passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016. Jake was born on Dec. 25, 1930, the son of the late Harris and Stella Flood Boyce. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Will and Eva Boyce; brother, Edward Boyce; daughter, Nancy Galeni; and two sons, William Boyce and Kenneth Boyce. He retired from Manlove Automotive in Seaford after 15 years. He was also a locksmith in Seaford for 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth M. Boyce; three sons, Dale Elliott (Kelly), David Boyce (Virgie) and Richard Boyce; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at 12 noon at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m to 12 noon. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
