Inez Lewis was born on December 18, 1926 to John Henry and Eliza Jane Folk in Ehrhardt, South Carolina. In her early 20's later moved to Brooklyn New York where she resided until she went on to glory. She departed this life on January 29, 2019 in Brooklyn Gardens Nursing Home. She was 92 years old.
Inez lived a hard but fulfilling life. Inez was youngest of 14 children. She later migrated to New York where she met the guy of her dreams Frank Wright. They never married or had children, but they shared a life of fun, laughs, up and downs, faith, travel; they we inseperable. You see Frank, Inez wasnt far behind. It was a companionship that lasted 65 years until Frank passed away 3 years ago.
Inez was a hard working woman. She worked at GM as an assembly line union worker making car parts for more than 20 years. Inez was long lived member of Stuyvesant Heights Christian Church for over 30 years. She and Frank were regular attendees until they became ill. She loved the Lord. Inez was also a jokester. She loved making people laugh and telling it how it is. Her witty and jovial personality was unlike no other.Inez loved her family. She had a plethora of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
She leaves behind to mourn one godchild: Sharon Williams, Brooklyn, NY a host of neices, nephews, friends and church family.
